Forget Orkut, MySpace or Facebook we now bring you the feature rich and all in one social networking component of UVouch and it is the FanClub. It is like having your own site on the Internet without investing a buck. The UVouch FanClub puts together everything a social networking site needs. I am going to take you through the different features of it and how to build and customize a FanClub.

With FanClub, you can create your virtual clubs or communities ranging from your favorite Rock Star to Sports Star, Your Passion to obsession, Favorite places, movies, politics or even your work place or about that crook Boss and invite your colleagues
and friends to join and have fun. It offers the option to categorize the FanClub according to the theme for which it is designed. You can categorize FanClub from the following available options: Adult, Animation, Arts, Automotive, Business, Careers & Employment, Comedy, Computers, Education, Electronics, Health & Fitness, Hobbies & Leisure, Music, News & Media, Other , Personal, Pets & Animal, Politics, Real Estate, Science & Technology, Shopping, Sports,Travel & Places, TV & Entertainment.

Creation of Fanclub is as simple as a couple of mouse click and just in 3 steps your community is ready. But you need to be a registered UVouch member to start with. As I already mentioned it has everything you wished a community to have, it is upto you, how much creative you are and how much ytou can exploit the features. For example have a look at this club called Friends of Orianthi. You can have a forum, videos, photos and links related to the Fanclub and put them on Homepage.

The first step is Create Fan Club, where you have to provide the name of the Fan Club, related tags for easily finding out the club through search, provide the category, put a customized name to get a personalized URL to access the site and a description of the club. Here is a screen shot:

The second step involves the customization of the theme of the community, where your actual creativity counts. It offers an intuitive drag and drop features to place the related boxes like photos, videos and polls on the page. In this step you can upload a banner and logo for the club, arrange differnet available boxes and customize the colors. Here you can set the transparency level of the foreground as compared to the background of the page. You can either select from a pre-defined color template or make your own color for various modules.

Now comes the final step, where you will publish the community site and show your club to the whole world. You will get a customized URL in the form http://www.uvouch.com/club/xxxx accessible by anybody not even registered to UVouch. Now if you want to add any widgets like in MySpace, you can add modules to the site. Currently we are offering RSS module and text module as an addon. You can add a text module where you can put any html codes for widgets for more attraction.

Once the communitiy is ready and published, you can start inviting your friends to join the community. People can vouch your FanClub by clicking on the Vouch button (just like digg) to increase the popularity. In order to invite friends to join your community, log-in to UVouch using your user name and password and click on Fan Clubs  and then on MyClubs (pic 1). It will show all the clubs owned by you and where you are a member. Just click on Manage on the club (pic 2) where you would like to invite your friends and click on invite friends (pic 3). You can also invite friends by clicking on invite at the top right corner on your FanClubs when you are logged in as shown in fig 4. manage1.jpg

The last thing I would like to bring in here is that suppose you have finished the first step that is Create FanClub would like to leave it there and wish resume it later by bringing in some moire fantastic idea then you can find the half finished unpublished one inside the FanClubs options in your MyClub area. You can again start from the place where you left it and finally publish it.

Please write in the comment section about any help you need in creating and customizing the FanClub and I would be happy to guide you.
