How do l post my favorite links/bookmarks to Uvouch.com?

You can post links manually or by clicking our browser button. To post manually, just login to your account, click on “My Links” under “My Account” Menu, then click “Add Favorite” link and add the required information.

The easiest way to post links is through the Uvouch browser button. If you don’t already have our browser button, then click here and follow the steps mentioned.

When you’re visiting a page that you’d like to save, then simply click on our browser button to post that particular link to your favorites. Our browser button will try to retrieve the title, url, tags, description automatically. If not, you will then need to manually enter the information.

How do l organize my saved links into different categories and tags?

You can organize links/bookmarks into most appropriate catagories in two ways. One by choosing the default categories provided by us and the other is by creating your own categories. You can also select multiple categories to organize them.

Tags are related keywords and labels that can make it easier to find links later. We highly recommend members organize their links into tags, as tags are easier and flexible. You can describe the content of the video using tags and each tag must be separated by comma.

You may notice a list of recommend tags from your previous tags list and other recommended popular tags when you start typing each letter of the tag. A tag should be meaningful for both you and Uvouch.com community.

How do l automatically save selected paragraphs from links/websites?

Select the paragraph/clip on the web page before clicking on Uvouch.com browser button. Check "Save selected text" box on add link page and submit. You can view the saved link and clipping from My Links section.

How to I keep my links/bookmarks private?

On “Add Favorite” link page you can select private option before posting that link. Your friends at Uvouch.com can view your private videos only if you have this option selected in “Account Settings” page, which is located in “My Account”.

How does the tag suggestion feature work?

Each time you enter a tag letter it displays your tags and other related tags that matches the letter you have typed. You are under no obligation to use these tags, they are just recommendations and an example is given to follow:

How to I share my favorites links/bookmarks with friends?

Simple invite your friends to connect with you. Inviting your friends to connect is the easiest way to share. You can use the “Email This” form, next to the link you would like to share, to email a particular link to friends.

You can also give link to favourite link page, by altering the following link, with your own Uvouch username:

What is a broken link check and how do I check for broken links?

Our broken link checker will analyse all your favorite links to find broken links. You can continue working on other documents while our broken link checker finds broken links. Once the process is completed you will be notified.

You can delete the links that are broken or keep them for future use (if you can fix it).

To start broken link check, just login to your account, click on “My Links” under “My Account” menu and then click on the “Find Broken Links” button.

How to I import my bookmarks from IE, Firefox, del.icio.us, furl.net?

To import links from existing services and your browser, simply login to your account, click on “Import link” under My “Tools” section.

Choose a particular option to imports links like IE, del.icio.us and click next. Detailed instructions are then mention on the page to follow, to help you import it.
