Formed in the summer of 2006, Bent Cigarette Productions or BCP is an ensemble of cinephilles who belong to different backgrounds of film art from different institutes based in Kolkata. With the sole objective to give the medium back a share of the change that it had brought into their lives, BCP with some of its short films has certainly made its mark in some of the festivals both in the country as well as abroad besides being quite a recognizable name in the underground film circuit in the city. However, BCP looks forward to every unchartered territory in the coming months and years. Let this community stand as a toast not only just to the organization but to every value or ethical point of cinema which BCP stands for.
