From poverty and trailer houses to Houston skyscrapers and billionaires, a young woman follows her destiny to find herself caught between the man she’s always wanted, and the man who wants her.
A beautiful tale of destiny, romance and Texas.

I nervously got into this strangers car, something I was no stranger to. We introduced ourselves by shaking hands and exchanging names. I asked him what he usually came here for, “touching, kissing, you know, the basic stuff” he replied. I told him I was a student of photography interested in making a documentary about men who cruise. I made it clear that I was only interested in talking and possibly taking a few photographs. He agreed to stand for a Polaroid only if I promised to conceal his identity. I wanted to know why he came to a desolate parking lot in the dead of winter. A place where what most would call “morally questionable” acts took place nightly and police cars selectively patrolled looking to clean the streets of perverted homosexuals. I wondered what monsters he had in his closet. “It’s safe” he says “I ¬¬can pull up, get off and leave, quick and easy, no strings attached.” He paused for a moment. “I don’t always mess around though; sometimes I just come here to talk.” Determined to leave no desire unfulfilled, the other cars in the lot circled pulling in and out of spaces left by another. “Do you have a wife at home?” Looking me in the eye he smiled and said, “It is what it is… I am clandestine.”
