Technology, Science and the Humanities: Rosalind Williams is a bridge between two worlds that many deem at odds with one another -- science and the humanities. A historian on the faculty at MIT, Williams is equally at home discussing the power of language as she is defining modern day technology. Currently the Director of the schools Program in Science, Technology and Society, Williams is a firm believer that scientists and engineers need to know the arts, humanities and the social sciences if they are to achieve greatness.
