When I first got my cats I realized I didn`t know anything about cats, so I got two books, "Good Owners, Great Cats" by Kilcommons and "How to Get Your Cat to Do What You Want" by Epstein. Both books encouraged cat owners to allow their cats to remain indoors, but to teach them to walk on a leash as a way to widen their worlds and keep them happy, so that`s what I did. I posted the video "Sam in Driveway on Harness and Leash", among other videos in the same vein, showing Sam having a great time outdoors on her leash.

A comment was posted saying Sam is too skinny, and that I was wrong to let Sam outdoors on a leash and that cats should be let to "rome" [sic]. Upon exploring the LiveVideo site of the commenter, I discovered her idea of how cats should be handled, which I included in this video. Hope you enjoy watching this "cat fight" as much as I enjoyed exposing and rebutting this provincial oaf. Cheers, Sam`s Mama
