The young Michael Jackson took co-lead singing duties with brother Jermaine when the group`s name changed from "The Jackson Brothers" to "The Jackson 5" in 1966. The group eventually auditioned for, and signed a contract with, Motown Records in 1968.[24] They hit stardom with their first four singles, "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I`ll Be There", which charted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the first time ever a group had pulled off that feat.[23] As a solo artist, Jackson released a total of four studio albums with Motown, among them Got to Be There in 1971 and Ben in the following year. These were released as part of the Jackson 5 franchise and produced successful singles such as "Got to Be There", "Ben", and a remake of Bobby Day`s "Rockin` Robin". Between 1971 and 1975, Jackson`s voice "descended ever so slightly from boy soprano to his current androgynous high tenor."

After three upbeat "bubblegum soul" number-one singles from the Jackson 5 ("I Want You Back", "ABC", and "The Love You Save"), Motown head Berry Gordy decided to take a risk and craft a ballad for the group. For this song, he brought in writer/producers Hal Davis, Willie Hutch, and Bob West, as opposed to working with the rest of The Corporation™, who had crafted the first three hits. Jackson 5 lead singers Michael Jackson and his older brother Jermaine share the lead vocals on this song. Michael`s ad-libbed "just look over your shoulders, honey" is an allusion to "Reach Out I`ll Be There", a 1966 number-one hit single recorded by The Four Tops. He was instructed by Gordy to say "just look over your shoulder" (exactly as Levi Stubbs had said it in "Reach Out I`ll Be There"), but the slightly flubbed line was allowed to remain in the final mix.

Once Im past agrabah, Im not going to do any more remastering (except maybe on goth town) because the rest of the episodes have great sound quality as they are.
