Back in 1999, I videotaped a picket held at Scientology's Celebrity Center in Los Angeles. Scientologist Harold Bezazian interacts with critics including Garry Scarff.
Since this picket, Harold has divorced his wife, Tory Christman, after she decided to leave Scientology.
I like Harold and I always have but now he has written a smear letter against Tory which Scientology has posted on the web. We believe it was written at Scientology's request because Tory has been interviewed on TV and in print exposing Scientology's fraud and abuse.

David Cook, Videotaped Message
February 2002
Note: Scientologists will understand this more than non-Scientologists or people who have studied Scientology. On September 12, 2001 David became the 17th person to attest to the Golden Age of Tech completion of New OTVII (Operating Thentan Lebvel Seven). Within two weeks he had left the criminal Scientology cult. Now he speaks out about David Miscavige, the Golden Age of Tech, and much more. This is a Pro-Scientology anti-cult interview.
Scientology calls itself a "church" and a "religion" only for tax-exemption status and to innoculate itself from prosecution for violating laws against fraud and practicing medicine without am license. Almost no Scientologist believes Scientology is a religion and church: however, Scientology staff members are trained to insist Scientology is a religion and church for public relations reasons.
There are currently about 52,000 Scientology customers, salespeople, and staff members in the United States. There are about 19,000 more in the rest of the world.
