This is just one of my takes on special FXes. This same method is used in movies. I mean, do you really think they will crash a real train in town or crash a huge 747? NO! They use scaled down props. In slow motion, it looks so good.

Yes, this is very silly, but Dan is taking a paramedic class and and they wanted to stage some really bad car accidents, but the preset banged up cars was a bit boring to them so they spent like a month trying to come up with a way to do this and analyze the analyze and th possible outcome of the driver of the car. He came home one day and was talking to me about what they were doing and I told him that I know a way we could do this safely and to ask them if they would like me to do this for them. They said go for it, so we set up a few tests and showed them. They liked it. So the plan now is, in the spring on a warmer day, brighter light, clearer video file and stage a few of these for them to watch, then they plan to set up real cars in the way these cars rest and the drivers after the aftermath and go through a mock teaching drill and procedures on responding to the scene. Be looking soon for a much better and in depth video of this. It will be available for download upon request.. ENJOY
