Joseph Perez (born in Los Angeles, California) is a American Latin Actor and Independent Filmmaker, writing/producing and directing of Spaniard and Mexican descent, best known for being one of the star for McDonald’s Bags and Cups Packages as the “Cool Muscle Car Guy” for the I’m Loving It Campaign and his lead roles in National Commercials and smaller roles in Major Motion Pictures. Joseph Perez Sometimes credited as: Mark Fiero / Joey Perez / Joe Perez / Joseph Angel Perez / Joseph Perez /Jose Perez / Jose Angel Perez Actor & Independent Filmmaker he started his career at the age of eleven. It was Joseph himself that persuaded both his parents at that time that he wanted to become an actor. His father was the head of the household so he went up to him pleading to his father to put him into some kind of acting school. His father asked him “why mijo?” Joseph said “Pop, you play the guitar and people dance and they get happy, when I see TV its like that, its like people on TV and that play music make people watching enjoy things better in life, it makes people happy, kind of like a hero.” “I want to be a hero, poppy.” From then on the passion of becoming part of the Entertainment Industry built up inside Joseph’s heart and soul. With the drive to succeed in the Entertainment Industry, Joseph found an acting school in Beverly Hills in which at the time an older unknown actor Efren Ramirez, now known as a rising star from “Employee of the Month” & “Napoleon Dynamite” was teaching at. Efren Ramirez became his mentor and taught him the art of representing a character before cameras. At age 14 Joseph had reach a point in his career and made commercials and was getting small roles in major motion pictures. At this time he wanted to expand his talents and started studying Mixed Martial Arts with Karate Champion & stuntman Chris Casamassa “Mortal Kombat” & “WMAC Masters” the son of the Karate guru Louis D. Casamassa up until the age of 18 when Joseph Enlisted in the United States Marines. He served 4 years as an Artillery Control Specialist and was helping with simulated combat training for some of the combat units deploying at 29 Palms. With his natural talent of performing and knowing how to entertain a crowd, it is translating into success on television and the big screen. He is back in Martial Arts training and also took up a new hobby in restoring classic muscle cars from years of 1962-1974. He currently has a collection of Chevy, Mopar and Ford cars. He restores the bodywork, engine and interiors with the help of a little talent and mechanic books.
