It doesn`t matter how rich or poor, big or small -- every city, town and village has stray, homeless, abandoned, lost, neglected, starving, injured, and sick cats and dogs who are somehow surviving in the streets. These animals were once, or could be, someone`s beloved pet. They shouldn`t be sick, hungry, or in pain. They don`t speak our many languages but they do speak one language we all have in common -- unconditional love. You can see it in their eyes... all they want is a pat on the head, a little food and a comfortable spot to sleep. And in return they will be your friend forever. My hope is that more people take notice and do something to help at least one stray cat or dog... it would make a BIG difference.
