We went to the tomb of the unknown soldier and watched the changing of the guard, the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. We also saw the annual kite flying contest at the Washington Monument. Of all the years I have lived in this area, this is the first time I`ve ever gone to the Cherry Blossom Festival, the Cemetary or the kite flying. It was cool.
