Latin sensation Shakira and Wyclef Jean of Fugees fame have hooked up for a new single that will be released to radio. "Hips Don't Lie"
Latin sensation Shakira and Wyclef Jean of Fugees fame have hooked up for a new single that will be released to radio. "Hips Don't Lie" is going for ads on pop radio this week, and it is also earmarked for Shakira's re-release of the Oral Fixation series of albums, possibly in DualDisc format.
The Colombian told us about "Hips Don't Lie," and adding it to her album.
In an interview just a few weeks ago, Shakira also told us how the collaboration came about, and she said that Wyclef got into her music from the tune, "La Tortura."
Well next week has become this week, as the two hope to become the latest collaboration that hits the top of the charts. Collaborations have become all the rage, and nearly half of the songs on the pop charts are pairings. There's no word as to the re-release of the Oral Fixation albums, again, rumored to be on DualDisc.
